AIRWAY HEIGHTS – The City Council approved the design scope for future construction projects in their July 6 meeting. One will take place on 10th Avenue from Garfield to Hayford. The other will be a pedestrian crossing beacon on Hayford at 7th and 9th avenue.
The city was able to secure a Transportation Improvement Board grant for work on the 10th Avenue project. So far, T-O Engineers have been employed to work on the consulting for the project, handling jobs such as project management, geotechnical services and roadway designs.
