Jeff and Kim Cantola, 416 G. St., have been named Cheney's Yard of the month for July. They have lived in this house for just about a year, and are getting acquainted with the well-established yard.
Things are blooming at different times, much to their delight. The only planting they have had to do was to replace a tree in the front yard that was taken out by a runaway car. The tree they chose to plant was Aphrodite Althea.
The Kiwanis Club and the Gardeners of Cheney presented them with a $25 gift certificate a Jarms/Ace Hardware. Welcome Jeff and Kim to Cheney.
