MEDICAL LAKE — Students can eat breakfast and lunch for free starting June 28, but free meals are not ending with summer. Due to a decision from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), lunch will be free across the school district for the entire 2021-22 year.
Summer lunches are not new to the district, although they have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
