CHENEY – On paper, last Saturday’s track and field matchup between the Blackhawks and visiting University Titans boys was a 72-all tie.
That’s on paper. On the track and in the field, a tie is settled with places.
“A couple no heights (by Cheney) in high jump and pole vault gave them enough to tie,” head coach Derek Slaughter said. “But it is broken by fourth-places and we have more of those. So we win by tie breaker.”
