Pair of Eagles earn conference, national recognition

Following a sweep of Big Sky Conference contests against Montana State in Bozeman on Feb. 11 and 13, a pair of Eastern Eagles have earned both league and national honors.

Pre-season All-Big Sky Conference selection, junior Kim Aiken Jr. averaged a double-double last week was honored Feb. 15 as Big Sky Conference Player of the Week. It was the first such honor for Aiken.

Another junior Tanner Groves, earned the same weekly player of the week honor from College Sports Madness for the third time this season.
