Police assisted the Washington State Patrol with a driving under the influence arrest on the 1800 block of 1st Street. Cheney officers made the initial stop with the State Patrol taking over the investigation and arrest of 22-year-old Collin B. Axtell for DUI.
A mental health issue was reported on the 500 block of West 3rd Street. Subject was involuntarily committed.
A set of keys was found at an undisclosed location in Cheney and turned into the police station.
