NEWPORT — The Washington State Patrol is asking for the public’s help in solving the cold case killing of Jack LaFond.
“The anniversary of this homicide is coming up and the WSP cold case team is still working to solve this case, and bring the person(s) responsible to justice,” Sgt. Darren Wright said Wednesday.
According to Wright, LaFond’s body was found in a small travel trailer in the 1400 block of Telephone Road on Oct. 24, 1994.
Law enforcement went to the trailer when LaFond’s girlfriend because concerned that she couldn’t reach him over the previous weekend.
