A child custody issue was reported that involved a child and family in Omak, Wash. A dispute arose within the family which led to a different family member taking the child to stay with them. Unconfirmed reports indicated the family member and child may be living in Cheney. Police took an information-report only to assist the family in located the child.

Christopher R. Power, 35, was arrested for driving under the influence on the 1200 block of West 1st Street.
A mental health issue was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road.

An abandoned auto was reported on the 900 block of Cedar Street. Police impounded a white 2001 Kia Sportage.
A medical call was reported on the zero hundred block of West 1st Street. Subject was involuntarily committed.
