Democratic congressional candidate Chris Armitage is visiting cities in the 5th Congressional District to hear voters’ concerns, and has scheduled visits on the West Plains as well as Spokane Valley.
Armitage will be in Cheney today (March 12) at the Cheney Library, 610 1st St., from 4 – 6 p.m., and will be at the Medical Lake Library, 321 Herb St., on Monday, March 16, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. He will also be in Millwood at the Argonne Public Library, 4322 N. Argonne Road Tuesday, March 17, from 12 – 3 p.m.
According to campaign manager Andrea Griffin, Armitage has scheduled the “community listening” sessions to hear voter concerns on issues impacting them, as well as provide time for questions and answers. Griffin said Armitage is running a “grassroots campaign” by accepting no corporate or special interest funding.
