'Miracle On 34th Street' opens Friday Dec. 6

It’s opening weekend of StageWest Community Theatre’s production of Lux Radio Theatre’s “Miracle On 34th Street.” In this magical story, you will meet Mr. Kris Kringle, a department store Santa. Kringle is taken to court because he claims to be the REAL Santa Claus. And, because of the belief of one little girl, a miracle happens.

StageWest Reader’s Theatre production of this classic is a story about the true spirit of Christmas and simply believing in the magic of it all. Come and experience what it was like to present a play during a “live radio broadcast,” and be entertained by this fun, magical story of Christmas.

Opening night is Friday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m., followed by performances on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 8 at 3 p.m. Other performance dates are Dec.13 at 7 p.m., Dec. 14 at 6 p.m. (this is the Dinner Theatre) and Dec. 15 at 3 p.m. All performances are at 639 Elm St. in Cheney.

Ticket prices are adults $15, seniors (60+) $10 and students with valid school ID $5. Dinner Theatre tickets are $30 — which are limited and must be purchased in advance. Except for Dinner Theatre, groups of 10 or more receive discounted tickets.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at http://www.stagewestct.org. For information or for tickets if you cannot purchase online call 509-309-9929.
