The Medical Lake soccer team continued its team-building odyssey, enduring at least two more losses in the past week.
On Tuesday, Sept. 24, the Cardinals hosted Riverside (3-2, 4-2) in Northeast A league action, getting shutout 9-0.
Medical Lake then traveled to Colville (3-2, 3-3) the following Thursday, Sept. 26, where the Indians also held the Cardinals scoreless in an 8-0 loss.
A match scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 28, against the Lakeland, Idaho, Hawks was canceled because the Cardinals had only eight healthy players available to play, according to Jordan Starr, Medical Lake High School assistant athletic director.
At press time the Cards were schedule to face Deer Park on Tuesday, Oct. ,1 at home at 4 p.m., and then travel to Davenport on Thursday, Oct. 3, for a 6 p.m. game against the Northeast 2B Davenport Gorillas (5-1).
At 0-5 in league play and 0-7 overall, the Cards have yet to win a match. They sit at last place in the NEA.
