Threat made at Cheney Middle School

Update as of 12:56 p.m. Sept. 24.

Cheney School District officials have announced they have made an identification of a subject in conjunction with a threat of violence made at Cheney Middle School on Monday, Sept. 23. At press time the subject was listed as a sixth-grade female, who officials said they would not name.

Cheney School District officials are going through video to figure out who made a threat of violence at Cheney Middle School on Monday, Sept. 23. The threat led to an increased police presence at the middle school as well as Cheney High School on Tuesday.
