Eastern Washington University's proposed $25 million renovation to Roos Field got a major boost today (Sept. 19) in the form of a $5 million donation.
In a news release, EWU Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics Lynn Hickey revealed that Cheney resident and West Plains and Spokane business owner Jack Gillingham made the gift to inspire others to also open their wallets and donate to the stadium plans, which begin with upgrading the iconic red tur.
