Emmanuel Lutheran Church

Emmanuel Lutheran Church invites you to worship with us this Sunday, Sept. 15, at 10:30 a.m. Fellowship hour follows the worship service.

Adult education begins at 9 a.m. this Sunday.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Emmanuel’s annual holiday bazaar and luncheon. This is a good opportunity to start on your holiday shopping!

Al are welcome to visit Emmanuel’s Little Free Library and Free Community Pantry located at 639 Elm St. Donations of books, non-perishable food, and personal care items for all ages are always accepted. Both are open to the community 24/7. Emmanuel thanks you for your continued support of this outreach ministry to our neighbors in need.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church

A welcoming haven, nourishing all God’s people in body, mind and spirit. Holy Eucharist at 11 a.m. Rev. Christine Soule will preach and preside.

We wish all students a wonderful new school year coming soon.

The ELM program is soon to resume come the fall.

Our community vegetable garden continues to ripen and grow, offering healthy food to the Cheney Food Bank each week throughout the season.

Fellowship breakfast is each Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m. All are welcome.

Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Saturday morning at ll:30 a.m. in the parish hall.

United Methodist Church

The fall schedule is in full swing at the United Methodist Church with Sunday morning worship at 10 a.m. Pastor Pat Sleeth will be preaching this week and continue a sermon series on “Wisdom.”

A multi-age Sunday school class meets at 9 a.m. as well as an adult Bible school class studying the book Simon Peter by Adam Hamilton.

Bell choir practice has resumed and is at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays followed by chancel choir practice at 7 p.m. each week.

You may call the church office for additional information on other worship and study opportunities during new office hours, Tuesday — Thursday from 4:30-8 p.m.
