Do you want to contribute to the greater good of the burgeoning West Plains community and think you have what it takes to get things done? Or maybe you’re tired of how local elected officials are doing the jobs they were elected to fulfill and want to see them ousted. Regardless of your reason for running for local office, the clock is ticking — you’ll need to register with the Spokane County Elections office next week in a very narrow, five-day window of time between 9 a.m. Monday, May 13, and 4 p.m., Friday, May 17.
