ML Dollars for Scholars yard sale fundraiser this week

If you have been here before, you know we have the “stuff” you need and want! Lots of furniture, clothing, tools, household goods, books, electronics and even some antiques hidden in plain sight. Come out to support our graduating seniors’ scholarships.

The sale runs 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Friday May 3 and 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday May 4. It’s the largest yard sale in the area!

Feed Medical Lake to hold food-oriented classes

Feed Medical Lake is hosting two food-oriented classes on May 11. The first is a cooking class at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 223 S. Hallett St., with the first 10 people registering going home with ingredients to make the meal.

The second is a food safety training class from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., also at St. John’s Lutheran Church. The class will be conducted by Feed Medical Lake certified trainers, and give those attending the knowledge for home or business and help them obtain a food worker’s permit, with a certificate given after the class.
