Cardinal girls overcome turnovers to win annual Spirit Game rivalry

The Medical Lake Cardinal girls brought home a 64-58 victory from the annual Spirit Game competition in non-league play against the Cheney Blackhawks in a tough game before a roaring crowd at Eastern Washington Universities Reese Court on Saturday.

“Saturday’s game was definitely a fun atmosphere,” Cardinal head coach Kyle Lundberg said. “I was really proud of the way our girls played.”
