The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association announced its WIAA/Wendy’s Athlete of the Week winners for Week 14 (Nov. 25-Dec. 1) on Wednesday, Dec. 5, and a West Plains athlete is one of those selected.
Alex Stith, a senior at Medical Lake High School and a member of its basketball team scored 29 points on a 10 of 13 shooting performance in last week’s 76-68 loss to Okanogan. He knocked down 9 of 13 from the free-throw stripe, to go along with 21 rebounds, including 10 offensive boards....
