Candy Cane XI opens EWU indoor season

The Eastern Washington University track and field teams begin their 2018-19 indoor season this Friday and Saturday (Nov. 30, Dec. 1) hosting the Candy Cane Xl at the Jim Thorpe Fieldhouse.

“The Candy Cane Track and Field meet is an opportunity for the athletes to see where they stack up after fall training,” head women’s coach Marcia Mecklenburg said.

The Candy Cane will be a two-day dual meet against the University of Montana, but also includes men’s heptathlon and women’s pentathlon competitors from other schools.
