Mitchell is Grey Cup MVP

Former Eastern Washington University and Calgary Stampeders quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell was named the 106th Grey Cup Most Valuable Player after leading his team to a victory over Ottawa 27-16 in the 106th Grey Cup played Nov. 25 in Edmonton.

“This is amazing. This is the most amazing feeling I’ve ever had – especially with all the failure – we’ve learned from it,” Mitchell said after accepting the award.”

The Stampeders QB threw for 253 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions on his way to winning his second career Grey Cup.

The 28-year-old was also named 2014’s Most Valuable Player in the Stamps’ last championship win. He becomes the seventh player to receive multiple Grey Cup MVP honors.
