Oct. 22

A possible hit and run situation was reported on the 700 block of Cedar Street.

Oct. 23

Violation of a court order was reported on the 500 block of North Third Street.

Second-degree malicious mischief was reported at Cheney High School. A car was damaged.

A woman’s wallet was found on the 2700 block of First Street.

A 15-year-old female, a 16-year-old male and a 15-year-old male were arrested on the 300 block of Simpson Parkway for minor in possession of alcohol.

Herbert F. Watlamett, 34, was arrested on the 200 block of Betz Road on a Spokane Municipal Court warrant for driving under the influence (DUI).

Adam C. Culp was arrested on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road on a Cheney warrant for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.

Oct. 24

Adam C. Culp, 37, was arrested on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road for third-degree malicious mischief.

Third-degree theft was reported on the zero hundred block of Cheney-Spokane Road. Diesel was taken from a vehicle.

Possible child abuse/neglect was reported on the 300 block of Erie Street. Incident was related to the following report.

Melanie R. Loftice, 46, was arrested on the 300 block of Erie Street on a Cheney warrant for failure to appear on charges of third-degree theft.

A purse was reported stolen on the 100 block of Anderson Road at the Cheney Recycling Center. Further investigation by the victim determined the purse was actually in their home.

Harassment was reported on the 2700 block of First Street.

Oct. 25

Police assisted Child Protective Services on a possible child molestation investigation on the 1500 block of Second Street.

Oct. 26

A 14-year-old male was arrested at Cheney High School for fourth-degree assault.

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the zero hundred block of North Third Street.

A rape was reported as occurring somewhere in Cheney. Information is sketchy at press time as the incident was reported to Cheney police via the Coeur d’Alene Police Department.

Second-degree burglary was reported on the 500 block of Third Street.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 100 block of West First Street.

Second-degree assault was reported on the zero hundred block of Alki Street.

First-degree assault was reported at Zip’s Drive-In.

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 700 block of First Street. A vehicle was damaged.
