A Cheney district judge denied allegations that his campaign workers had anything to do with the release of derogatory information concerning a judicial race opponent.

Grain prices were reported as $3.39 per bushel for soft white wheat and $66.50 per ton for barley.

After much discussion, the city of Cheney voted unanimously to invest in a new computer data system.
