The Lady Blackhawks volleyball team started the week slow with a 3-0 loss to Pullman but rallied in the following days, taking the edge over Clarkston 3-2 in their Sept. 13 Great Northern League match at home and conquering Rogers 3-0 in a non-league game on Sept. 14.
It took five sets to secure their victory, but the Blackhawks overcame the Bantams by 10 points in the fifth set, thanks in part to four blocks, 13 digs and 14 kills by junior Shelby Draper.
