After a half-dozen seasons of playing against teams that few fans knew, and one’s that because of a talent gap routinely roughed up Eastern Washington University’s feathers, the Eagles are back in familiar territory for the school’s hockey program.
Eastern will host the University of Idaho in a pair of games Friday, Sept. 21 and Saturday, Sept. 22, at the University Recreation Center, with both night’s opening faceoffs taking place at 7 p.m. The U of I games are nonleague, with play beginning next week in their new league, the Pac-8 Conference.
