Medical Lake High School fence project bid accepted

Following the shooting a year ago at Freeman High School, districts across the region put many new measures in place to try to make sure that event is not repeated.

Among the physical improvements done locally in the Medical Lake School District are the installation of new security doors.

But at Medical Lake High School, which has detached buildings on the north side of the campus that serve as classrooms, officials decided that the installation of a 6-foot security fence was necessary in order to better protect the school as a whole.
