Aug. 21
An abandoned auto was towed from the 200 block of West Fifth Street. Police impounded a silver, 2001 Ford Taurus.
Joanna R. Saunders, 23, was arrested on the 1000 block of Betz Road for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.
Jessica R. Edgar, 36, was arrested on the 2200 block of First Street for violation of a court order.
Michael F. Deandre, 31, was arrested on the 200 block of Simpson Parkway for possession of drug paraphernalia.
A white, 2008 BMW was taken without the owner’s permission from the 1000 block of Betz Road.
Aug. 22
An abandoned auto was towed from the 800 block of Second Street. Police impounded a green, 1998 Lexus.
A purse was found on the 600 block of C Street.
Mental health issues were reported on the 2200 block of First Street. Subject was involuntarily committed.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road. A door was broken.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1500 block of Washington Street.
Aug. 23
Residential burglary was reported on the 400 block of North Fourth Street. A bicycle was taken.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 700 block of Villard Street. A car window was broken.
Keys and tools were found on the 300 block of North Second Street.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 400 block of North Second Street. Tools were taken from a vehicle.
Corben R. Anderson, 20, was arrested on the 600 block of North Sixth Street for third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS), violation of a vehicle trip permit and a Spokane warrant for DWLS 3.
A civil problem/neighborhood dispute was reported on the zero hundred block of West Fifth Street.
Aug. 25
A 15-year-old male was arrested for trespassing on the 1000 block of Salnave.
Police assisted Spokane County Sheriff’s Office deputies with a domestic violence issue on the 2800 block of First Street. Cheney police helped get the victim to go to the Sheriff’s Office to talk.
Suspicious circumstances/a person following another, unrelated person was reported on the 400 block of Fifth Street.
Aug. 26
Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 100 block of North Ninth Street. An intoxicated person was reported to be acting strangely.
