Eastern Washington University football fans throughout the region will have four more opportunities to watch the Eagles on television this fall.
SWX, the sister station of KHQ in Spokane, will begin the year by broadcasting EWU’s opener versus Central Washington on Sept. 1 at 1:05 p.m. at Roos Field. Eastern’s next game at Northern Arizona on Sept. 8 at 4:05 p.m. will also be broadcast by SWX.
The other games being carried by SWX are EWU’s Hall of Fame game on Sept. 22 at 1:05 p.m. against Cal Poly and Senior Day on Nov. 10 when UC Davis visits at 1:05 p.m.
SWX reaches most of the Eastern Washington region, including digital 6.2 in Spokane/Cheney/Coeur d’Alene/Sandpoint/Lewiston, 23.3 in Yakima and 25.3 in the Tri-Cities; also via Comcast 306/112 (Spokane); Davis Cable 514/81.2/12 (Cheney); Time Warner 1245 (Coeur d’Alene & Pullman/Moscow); Charter 183 (Tri-Cities/Yakima), Cable One 466 (Lewiston), Northland Cable 317 (Moses Lake) and Northland Cable 115 (Sandpoint).
Nine of 11 Eastern games this fall will be televised either nationally or regionally. The Eagles will have three games televised on ROOT Sports (Montana State on Sept. 29, Southern Utah on Oct. 6 and Idaho on Oct. 27, one televised by Eleven Sports (Weber State on Oct. 13 and the team’s game on Sept. 15 at Washington State at 5 p.m. will be on the Pac-12 Networks.
Only November games at Northern Colorado and Portland State will not be televised.
