Lady Blackhawk's Meghan Krantz receives national honors

Cheney High School senior softball player Meghan Krantz has been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association's High School West Region Second Team, according to a July 2 news release.

Krantz, a 2018 graduate, was picked at third base. She was one of three players from Washington selected to any of the 10 teams, first and second teams from five regions.

The others were from Western Washington's Montesano High School, Abi Parkin and Lindsay Pace, both West Region Second Team picks. Montesano competes in the 1A Evergreen League.
