July 2
Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 1900 block of Fourth Street. A business called police to report that one of its customers had been contacted by an individual claiming to represent the business, but who was not employed by them.
Mohammed B. Bin Eiyed, 21, was arrested on the 500 block of F Street for third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS).
A two-car, minor injury rear-end collision was reported on the zero hundred block of Cheney-Spangle Road. Report was taken for recording purposes only as the severity of the injuries claimed did not seem to match the level of collision impact.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of Betz Road. Studded tires were taken.
A 1995 Chevy Camaro was impounded on the 3000 block of Normal Park Road.

A 17-year-old male was arrested as a runaway on the 500 block of North Third Street.
A runaway was reported on the 800 block of West First Street. Juvenile has returned.
July 5
A 17-year-old male was arrested as a runaway on the 1700 block of Seventh Street.
Financial fraud/unauthorized access to an online account was reported on the 100 block of Nolan Brown Place.
A possible trespassing incident was reported on the 2200 block of First Street. A church had asked that an individual not return to their building. The report was made by the person being asked to not return.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1500 block of Washington Street.
July 6
A 1999 silver Subaru Forrester was reported stolen on the 1500 block of Washington Street.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 100 block of Erie Street.
Trespassing was reported on the 200 block of Sixth Street.
A BB gun was found on the 200 block of L Street.
A possible suicidal suspect was contacted on the 18000 block of Short Road in Spokane County. Call came to Cheney police by a third party who had been engaged in a Snap Chat with the suspect.

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 400 block of Annie Place. Damage was done to some election signs.
Attempted suicide was reported on the 500 block of Third Street. Individual was involuntarily committed.

A 2009 Toyota Corolla was impounded on the zero hundred block of Washington Court.
A 15-year-old male was arrested on the 700 block on a Spokane County Juvenile Court warrant for failing to reside in an approved placement.
Civil problems were reported on the 2300 block of University Lane. Incident appeared to be custodial interference with a parenting plan.
Nuisance was reported on the 1700 block of Seventh Street.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1800 block of Seventh Street.

Richard L. Flick, 21, was arrested on the 2800 block for driving under the influence. Also arrested was Anthony E. Thiele, 45, for third-degree theft/shoplifting of alcohol.
