The Cheney High School boys soccer team went 1-1 during the week with a 3-2 victory over West Valley followed by a 2-1 loss to East Valley. The Blackhawks are now 2-6 in the GNL and 3-8 overall.
On April 10 at West Valley, the Eagles got on the board early with a goal five minutes into the contest. The Blackhawks finally responded in the 30th minute with a goal from senior Joel Solanke following a free kick from junior Noah Schorzman, tying the game at 1-1.
