CHS soccer loses to Clarkston in shootout

The Cheney High School boys soccer team went into another shootout against Great Northern League Clarkston on Tuesday, April 3. The Blackhawks eventually lost by a slim 4-3 margin in the shootout, handing them a 3-2 loss. Cheney falls to 2-7 overall record and is 1-5 in league play.

“The team looked very solid,” head coach Rene Caro said in an email. “The first half ended in a 0-0, however, we definitely looked in control as the boys were able to possess the ball very well and showcase patience in going forward.”
