March 12
A mental health issue was reported on the 500 block of North Third Street. Subject was not suicidal, but was involuntarily committed.
Credit cards and identifications for six individuals were found on the 600 block of West First Street and turned into police.
March 13
A bicycle was found on the 600 block of Villard Street.
Third-degree malicious mischief — graffiti — was reported on the 200 block of North Eighth Street.
A credit card was turned into dispatch at the police station by an individual who happened to be walking by.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1100 block of First Street.
Suspicious circumstances were reported to the police station. An individual called to report a possible sexual abuse incident that occurred in 2009 in Ritzville.
March 14
Residential burglary was reported on the 2400 block of University Lane. A calculator and camera were taken.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 1700 block of Seventh Street. Graffiti was found at Centennial Park.
A mental health issue was reported on the 600 block of Elm Street. Call came from the individual’s parent via an embassy due to language differences. Subject was not committed, however Frontier Behavioral Health responded and took over the incident.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 1100 block of Oakland Street. A debit card was found.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 300 block of J Street.
March 15
Harassment was reported on the 400 block of First Street.
A hit and run/unattended collision was reported on the 100 block of Erie Street.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 2400 block of University Place. A bicycle was taken.
An attempted suicide was reported to the police station. Subject was voluntarily committed.
March 16
Police assisted Washington State Patrol with a driving under the influence arrest on the 100 block of North Sixth Street.
Harassment was reported on the 1000 block of Salnave Road.
Harassment was reported on the 300 block of North Seventh Street.
March 17
Harassment was reported on the 300 block of First Street.
Second-degree assault was reported on the 300 block of First Street. Incident rendered the victim unconscious.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 2300 block of University Lane.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 500 block of Patterson. Yard art was taken.
A hit and run/unattended collision was reported on the 900 block of Fifth Street.
March 18
Yannel D. Mignonsin, 24, was arrested on the 1800 block of First Street for third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS).
Nichole M. Emrey, 38, was arrested on the 300 block of Erie Street on a Spokane County Superior Court warrant for identification theft.
