Cheney book club discusses ‘Little Women’
The Cheney Friends of the library book club will meet on March 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the library meeting room. Catherine Lauritsen will lead the discussion of the book “Little Women” written by Louisa May Alcott.
Cheney Kiwanis Easter Egg hunt March 30
Cheney’s Kiwanis Club is holding its annual Spring Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31. The hunt begins sharply at 11 a.m. for kids from toddlers to age 10.
The hunt takes place at Salnave Park. Come join in the fun, hunt for candied goodies and prizes and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny.
Medical Lake FFA dress fundraiser on March 24
The Medical Lake Future Farmers of America is holding a “Prom/Formal Dress Resale Fundraiser” Saturday, March 24, from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. at the Spokane Women’s Club, 1428 W. 9th Ave. in Spokane. Registration runs 8 – 11 a.m., with a non-refundable fee of $10/dress, $5/shoes — bring as many as you want to sell.
Sellers set the price for items, and when sold receive the full amount. Come in, shop, find the right dress, try it on and buy it. Cash only please.

Medical Lake Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt March 31
The Medical Lake Kiwanis Club is holding its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 15, at Waterfront Park. The hunt begins sharply at 11 a.m., with kids in age groups toddler to 4, 5-6, 7-8 and 9-12 years old.
