Wanda Grey Hagenbuch

Wanda Grey Hagenbuch went to be with the Lord on Feb. 15, 2018. Born in Chartage, N.C. on Oct. 15, 1950, to Pansey Rhumel Jones (Calhoun) and William Hartley Jones, she was the younger sibling of Nancy, Brenda and Johnny.

Wanda's mother was a dress maker and her father was a train engineer. Economic circumstances resulted in Wanda and her siblings growing up in an orphanage. At age 17 Wanda left the orphanage and lived for a time with her sister Nancy and brother-in-law Donald Hill in California. Wanda graduated from Santa Paula Senior High School Santa Paula, Calif.

She was twice married, first to John Hayworth Ecroyd, with whom she had a daughter, Brenda Louise Lenz (Ecroyd) and later to Roger Hagenbuch, with whom she shared 37 years of her life. Wanda moved to Cheney in 2000 and became sole proprietor of the Copy Junction shipping and printing business in 2004.

Wanda was preceded in death by her father, brother Johnny, mother and older sister Brenda. She is survived by her daughter Brenda Lenz of Boise, Idaho, grandson Cody Michael Lenz of Boise and oldest sister Nancy Lee Hill (Jones) of Santa Paula, Calif.
