EWU doubleheader basketball game against Idaho brought out the crowd

Last Friday, Jan. 12, I attended the doubleheader basketball games at Eastern Washington University with the visiting University of Idaho Vandals. The women’s team started their game at 5 p.m. with the men’s following 30 minutes after the completion of the first game.

I think hosting the two games together on the same night seemed to do the trick on making a lot of people come out to enjoy some fun basketball games in Cheney. By the time the men’s game rolled around, there were no empty seats left in the student section and the rest of Reese Court seemed to be almost full.
