Comedian Carlos Mencia comes to NQR

Comedian Carlos Mencia brings strong comedic intuition and non-stop laughs to Northern Quest Resort & Casino's Pend Oreille Pavilion on Thursday, March 15, 2018. 

Show time is 7:30 p.m.

According to a Dec. 5 news release, comedian, actor, writer and producer are a few of the crafts that describe Mencia's career. Known for his hit Comedy Central show "Mind of Mencia," as well as his role alongside Ben Stiller and Michelle Monaghan in the Farrelly Brothers' hit feature film "The Heartbreak Kid,, and in "Our Family Wedding" alongside America Ferrera and Forrest Whitaker, Mencia has been making waves in comedy since the early 1990s. 

Mencia began his comedic career in Los Angeles at the renowned Laugh Factory comedy club and continued his success performing nightly at The Comedy Store. He was named "International Comedy Grand Champion" from Buscando Estrellas (the Latino version of Star Search), which led to his appearances on hit shows "In Living Color," "The Arsenio Hall Show," "Moesha," and "An Evening at the Improv."

Mencia headlined the popular "The Three Amigos" tour with Freddy Soto and Pablo Francisco in 2002, selling out venues across the United States. His stand-up Comedy Central show "Carlos Mencia: No Strings Attached" became the first Comedy Central stand-up special DVD to reach platinum in sales.
