Emmanuel thanks the community for supporting our annual holiday bazaar and luncheon last weekend. It was a huge success.
Get your tickets for the joint StageWest and Emmanuel production of “The Chicago Caper” Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre scheduled for Friday, Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. All proceeds will go to Emmanuel’s carpet fund. Thanksgiving worship service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 21, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at 7 p.m. Please bring non-perishable food items for the Cheney Food Bank.
All are welcome to visit Emmanuel’s Little Free Library and Free Community Pantry located at 639 Elm St. Donations of books, non-perishable food and personal care items are always accepted. Both are open to the community 24/7.
Four Lakes Community Church
We are a non-denominational Village Missions Church. We exist to exalt the Lord, to educate and edify the saints and evangelize the lost. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. and worship service 10:45 a.m. All are welcome.
Our upcoming sermon series will be on Ephesians 6:14-17 by pastor Sean Carney entitled “Are You Prepared for Battle?” Our worship services combine contemporary choruses and traditional hymns.
Join us for Tuesday women’s Bible study, Wednesday music practice, Thursday AWANA all at 6:30 p.m. and Friday men’s breakfast and Bible study at 7 a.m. Our Operation Christmas Child shoebox packing party will be Saturday, Nov. 18 at 10 a.m.

United Methodist Church
The United Methodist Church Birthday Bunch will gather for breakfast at the Longhorn in Airway Heights on Saturday, Nov. 11. The no-host breakfast begins at 9 a.m. and is the last meeting of this group until March.
Please join us for worship Sunday morning at UMC. Pastors Alissa Bertsch Johnson and Pat Sleeth will lead the worship service and continue the sermon series on Moses. Sleeth will be preaching from the book of Exodus. Preceding worship there is a multi-age Sunday school class at 9 a.m. as well as an adult class discussing “The Book of Joy.”
