Cheney High’s cross country teams kept their Great Northern League records unblemished with wins over East Valley last Wednesday, their only action of the week. The Blackhawk girls had a fairly easy time of it, earning a 15-49 road win while the boys had to work a bit more, edging the Knights 24-31.
Cheney’s girls took the first six slots against East Valley’s young squad, led by Hannah Spakousky in first in a time of 21 minutes, 23 seconds.
