Cheney coat drive has two weeks left to donate
There are just two weeks left to donate to this year’s Cheney community coat drive. New or gently used coats may be dropped off at any area school as well as many local churches and businesses.
Distribution will take place on Friday, Oct. 21 at Sunset Elementary School in Airway Heights from 3-5 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 21, at Salnave Elementary School from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Any remaining coats will be available at Feed Cheney on October 30 at the Wren Pierson Building. Please donate coats of all sizes now.

Feed Medical Lake is serving baked chicken, salad, Parmesan noodles and pudding for supper at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 223 S. Hallett St., on Monday, Oct. 9.
Groceries are distributed at 4:15 p.m., with supper at 5 p.m. There will be door prizes, creation station for the kiddos and fellowship with friends both old and new. Visit Feed Medical Lake’s Facebook page for updates on upcoming events.
