Eastern, Sac State is 'Homecoming'

Saturday’s Big Sky Conference football game featuring Eastern Washington versus Sacramento State with its 1:35 kickoff at Roos Field is dubbed as Hall of Fame Day as well as “Believe Day” for cancer awareness via the Community Cancer Fund.

But it’s also a homecoming for two former EWU football coaches, too.

Jody Sears and Paul Wulff return to Roos Field where the two shared impressive success in the mid-2000’s. But now the roles are reversed – at Eastern Wulff was the head coach and Sears was defensive coordinator. Now, Sears is the Sacramento State head coach and Wulff is in his second season...
