Medical Lake got the offense it expects to see from Makayla Geiger in earning a Northeast A League soccer win Sept. 19 on the road at Deer Park 2-1, but Freeman and Pullman found a way to put a stop to her in recording consecutive shutouts, 5-0 and 4-0 to finish the week.
Geiger broke a scoreless tie with her goal at the 60-minute mark against the Stags (2-2 NEA, 2-3 overall) and then broke a 1-1 deadlock with her goal as time wound down in the 78th minute. Both goals came on assists from Nicole Wetherell.
