Airway Heights plans several events to create awareness while raising money
Airway Heights is sponsoring a night at the Texas Roadhouse in Coeur d'Alene where 10 percent of the proceeds go to supporting the C.A.R.E.S. program.
Airway Heights has a couple different events going on in the month of October in observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The first will take place on Oct. 4 at the Texas Roadhouse in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. People can take a flyer provided by the city to the restaurant. Then, 10 percent of whatever is spent on the meal goes towards Airway Heights C.A.R.E.S. scholarships. The fundraiser will take place from 3 – 9 p.m. at 402 W. Neider Ave. in Coeur d'Alene.
The next event will be on Oct. 13 at Sunset Elementary Auditorium and is called "Cooking with Cops" from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. The fun fi...
