Cardinal cross country kicks off at Highlander Invite
Medical Lake’s preseason No. 1 ranked 1A boy’s cross country team starts its season participating in the Highlander Invitational this Saturday at Shadle Park High School. Races start at 9:30 a.m.
The Cardinals, who finished second in state competition in 2016, and won back-to-back titles in 2014 and 2015, lead a top-10 that includes No. 2 Riverside and defending champ, Deer Park at No. 3. Lakeside of the Northeast A League is No. 9 in voting of coaches.
