Ron passed away peacefully at his home in Cheney, Wash. on Sept. 4, 2017. He was born June 24, 1944 in North Dakota, spending his youth working on farm machines. As an adult, he proudly served in the Army while stationed in Germany. After working many years in the automotive industry, he drove school buses for the Cheney School District and performed small engine repair.
Ron enjoyed camping, fishing, working in the yard and was a proud member of the American Legion for many years.
He is survived by his large family including his wife Nora; children Kandy, Ruth, Mollie, Elaina, Carl, Jim and John and their life-partners; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

There will be a remembrance celebrating Ron's life at the Cheney American Legion, Post 72 located at 116 College St., Cheney, on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017 at 2 p.m.
