Cheney officials work on new school funding

It’s been a long eight-plus weeks for Cheney School District Director of Finance Kassidy Probert.

Probert and other administrators have been pouring over the immense documentation contained in the state Legislature’s House Bill 2242 — the measure enacted that addresses the state’s court-mandated requirement to fully fund basic education.
