Officials from the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) from Fairchild Air Force Base began letting residents know if they are a part of phase four water testing for high levels of Perfluorooctanesulfonic (PFOS) and Perflurooctanoic acids (PFOA) according to a press release on Aug. 7.
About 100 residential wells from two areas will be tested, roughly one mile south and two miles north of Highway 2 in Airway Heights. The way the areas were chosen for sampling was based on the results received from phase three on July 12-15.
