Bandits miss Bronze title game at Summer Sizzler

The West Plains 18U softball team placed third in the Bronze Division of the Selah Summer Sizzler tournament, July 15–16 at Carlon Park in Selah.

The Bandits went 1-2 in Red Pool play, losing the opener on Saturday 4-2 to SnoCo Express, shutting out Sunnyside 10-0 in the afternoon game and finishing with a 6-3 loss to a familiar foe, the Liberty Lake Lightning in the early evening game. With the third-seed out of pool play, West Plains knocked off SeaTac Storm 5-0 in the first round before ending their run with an 8-1 loss to the Washington Rush.
