The West Plains Bandits 18U softball team finished third in the Silver bracket of the 4th of July Tournament at Spokane's Dwight Merkel Sports Complex, June 30 – July 2.
The Bandits lost their first two games in pool play, falling 8-0 to Great Falls (Montana) Xplosion in the opener on Friday and 5-0 to the Montana Avalanche in the first game Saturday morning. West Plains had singles by Cheyenne Gleave and Glori Cheevers against the Xplosion, and a single by Kadi Bateman and double by Deanna Koeppen against the Avalanche.
