Cheney Community Church
Kids and parents: Vacation Bible School at Cheney Community Church begins Monday, July 10. It’s Buck Denver’s: “What’s in the Bible? Rodeo” VBS. It will go through July 14 with a time of 8:45 a.m. to noon. Calling all cowboys and cowgirls. Preschool (must be potty trained) through fifth-grade are welcomed. Come join the fun.
The church will also have a booth at the rodeo parade. Drop by for a bottle of cool water.
Come join us for worship on Sundays. Children’s Church and nursery care are provided. The Holy Flame youth group meets Mondays at 6 p.m. for dinner followed by Bible study from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Middle and high school youth are welcome. The grouped enjoyed a bowling and pizza party at Rosa’s Pizza last week.
The men will hold their monthly breakfast, Saturday July 8 at 8 a.m. Small fellowship groups continue through the summer at various locations.

Emmanuel Lutheran Church

Emmanuel’s Vacation Bible School Day Camp program is scheduled for July 17-21. Registration forms are now available. You may pick up a registration form for each child at 639 Elm St. at the front door above the mailbox. Suggested donation is $25 per child. For more information, call 235-6300.
All are welcome to visit Emmanuel’s Little Free Library and Free Community Pantry located at 639 Elm St. Donations of books, non-perishable food and personal care items are gladly accepted. Both are open to the community 24/7. Thank you for your support.
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church

Our community garden is growing as we look forward to all summer giving its proceeds to the Cheney Food Bank.

Come to the annual parking lot sale this Saturday at Cheney United Methodist Church. It is name your own price on most items beginning at 9 a.m.
Join us again Sunday morning for worship. This week parishioner Laurie Zapf will be interviewed about how the Holy Spirit has worked in his life as the sermon series “Lives on Fire: The Holy Spirit in our Midst” continues. Immediately after worship, you are invited to stay and hear ideas from the missions and outreach ad hoc committee, a part of our long range-planning project.
