During the dedication of Duffy's Point, Vincent Ready's son, Troy Ready (front), and grandsons Miles Ready (center), Keats Ready (right) and Vann Stokes (back) sang a song in his memory.

Residents and hikers who walk along Medical Lake Trail near the remains of the granite quarry, may notice a marble memorial bench that overlooks the lake.
Labeled "Duffy's Point," the memorial is dedicated to the memory of Vincent "Duffy" Ready III. The spot where the bench sits is the starting point for the annual Medical Lake Founders Day Trailblazer Triathlon. The memorial was unveiled on June 16 during a ceremony attended by many of Ready's family and friends as well as Trailblazer contestants, first responders and volunteers.
